Fire Hose Rack Assemblies

This post is not a "product spotlight". I just wanted to reiterate that hose rack assemblies are NOT designed for repeated use. They're one time use only - in an emergency situation. If you've got something else in mind a traditional fire hose with a reel is probably your best bet.

Product Spotlight - Fire Hydrant Gate Valve

It's been awhile since our last post. But, today we're back with a focus on the fire hydrant gate valve.
A hydrant gate valve is exactly what it sounds like, a gate valve that's designed for use on a fire hydrant. And, while the name may not be very clever, it does perform an important job. Many people may not realize this, but when the fire hydrant itself is used for controlling the flow of water it can become damaged. Hydrants are not designed for that kind of abuse - it's either on or off. However, with the hydrant gate valve attached you can leave the hydrant fully open, while controlling the water with the valve. That way you're free to perform your job with a minimum of trouble. And by the way, we have plenty of hydrant gate valves in stock!
